Connecting is at the heart of what we do, our core value and heritage at Retail PR. To understand this and how we came about, let’s take you back to 2017, when the idea for our parent company, CIJ Group, was formed.
The idea for CIJ Group came about in November 2016, when our founder had a vision where all brands & retailers would launch their Christmas products collectively to maximise their most profitable time of year - saving budget and resources whilst increasing exposure.
And so launched The Big Christmas Press Show (formerly Christmas in July Festival). CIJ Group went on to expand its solutions, to a now virtual Power Pitching series to support in-house PR teams and PR agencies to meet with their target media for all occasions and seasons in the retail calendar, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter & Black Friday. Further to this was the online image library, PressFix to support PRs to connect with journalists and influencers 365 days a year.
Fast forward to now, 2021, where the idea for Retail PR was born out of the desire to do even more for our retail community, sparked by our clients recommendations that the natural evolution of CIJ Group would be to turn to PR to deliver a 360 solution for those who require year round support, all underpinned by the same principles of offering unrivalled value.
